A world-leading luxury interiors and bespoke hardware manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner to join their operations team. About the Role

As a Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery across all stages of supply chain and production—from machining and finishing to spraying, assembly, kitting, packing, and dispatch. You will turn demand into actionable production plans, maintain accurate schedules, and ensure all components converge efficiently. Operating in a high mix low volume (HMLV) luxury manufacturing environment, your planning expertise will directly influence the delivery of world-class products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Maintain the Master Production Schedule, review sales orders for feasibility, sequence work orders across multiple production departments, and proactively identify capacity bottlenecks.
  • MRP & Material Readiness: Conduct regular MRP runs, coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials, and flag potential supply issues early to support mitigation plans.
  • Workflow Control & Expediting: Monitor job progress, identify off-track work, expedite critical orders, and coordinate recovery priorities with production teams to maintain delivery standards.
  • Cross-Process Sequencing & Kitting Coordination: Ensure all components converge for kitting, maintain visibility of dependencies, and optimize kitting windows for smooth workflow.
  • Data Accuracy & Systems Discipline: Maintain ERP/MRP integrity, track KPIs via dashboards, and support root cause analyses (RCA/CAPA) to address deviations.
  • Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Apply CI & OpEx frameworks, participate in improvement projects, support standard work, and promote visual management practices across teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in production planning, ideally within HMLV or multi-stage manufacturing environments.
  • Strong ERP/MRP experience required.
  • Experienced user of digital production planning software (APS, MES, MRP) and similar tools.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and disciplined.
  • Proactive, anticipatory mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret BOMs, routings, and engineering drawings.
  • Team-oriented, resilient, and solution-focused.
  • OTIF focused individual (On-Time, In-Full), hyper-efficient, perfectionistic, and disciplined individual who views incomplete or late work as unacceptable
