About the role

You’ll be join our team based in our Eastbourne Manufacturing centre, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, test and packing of Paxton products.

  • Assemble and pack products with precision, following work orders and factory instructions.
  • Perform controlled electronics encapsulation (potting) on the line, following specified flow rates and timing.
  • Transferring stock between departments using manual handling equipment or a forklift truck (when licensed)
  • Picking and packing orders for despatch
  • Replenishment of Kanban’s for flowlines
  • Cycle counting stock and assisting with stock checks as necessary
  • Packing products to work order and Factory Instructions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly line efficiency and processes.

This role is offered on a 4-day week Monday to Thursday, flexi-shift pattern, requiring commitment to both day (09:00–19:15) and late (14:00–00:30) shifts. Shifts rotate based on business needs, but with advance notice given for any changes. Late shifts include a 10% pay uplift.

  • Be able to adapt in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Any previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing is beneficial
  • Basic IT literacy skills
