OPPORTUNITY

First Shift Hours: 6:30AM to 3:00PM (Overtime pay starts after 40 hours) 

The primary purpose of this position is to perform production activities as directed by either the Plant Manager, Warehouse Manager, or Lead Production Operator to meet customer orders, interbranch orders or to maintain safety stock inventory levels.   

As a production operator, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform production in an orderly, efficient manner to meet customer orders, interbranch orders or to fulfill safety stock requirements as indicated by either the Plant Manager or Lead Production Operator.
  • Complete production adhering to the Blending and Compounding of Products and the Container Inspection and Filling SOP’s.
  • Schedule and report production according to Hydrite procedures as required. 
  • Ensure that the Production areas are neat and clean and report all spills immediately according to Hydrite procedures.
  • Become knowledgeable in and comply with all areas of Hydrite work and safety rules.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times and treats other employees with courtesy and respect.  Ensure that all customers of Hydrite receive high quality product and superior service.
  • Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
  • Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required.  Review changes/additions with your supervisor.  Must be RCRA compliant.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

  • Must be able to enter data into the computer system.
  • Ability to operate a forklift; previous experience preferred.
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
