Production Operations Intern

The Intuit-Credit Karma Intern Program is a 7-11 week paid internship located in Charlotte, NC. During your internship, you will be placed into a team where you will work on various projects to help Credit Karma fulfill our mission to make financial progress possible for everyone. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in weekly meetings, team outings, events, and engage in discussions with CK leadership. Credit Karma is growing, and we’re looking for Production Operations Interns to support that growth as part of our Creative Ops team, with a focus on production operations.

This internship is designed for students who are curious about how creative work really gets made - how ideas move from concept to execution, how teams collaborate at scale, and how strong operations enable great creative output. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the workflows, systems, and processes behind design, video, and social production within an in-house marketing organization. Along the way, you’ll see how strategy, collaboration, and operations come together to bring creative ideas to life.

What You’ll Learn: 

During this internship, you’ll gain exposure to the full creative lifecycle and develop practical skills that translate directly to future roles in marketing, production, or creative operations. You’ll learn how to:

• Support a creative campaign from concept through final delivery
• Use workflow systems and operational tools to improve efficiency and visibility
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and agencies
• Build confidence in creative communication, presentation, and strategic thinking through meetings and brainstorms
• Understand brand identity, brand voice, and storytelling through creative content
• Work with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, including asset organization, metadata, versioning, and distribution
• Participate in real-world creative reviews, feedback loops, and cross-functional collaboration

What You’ll Do: 

As part of the Creative & Production Operations team, you’ll support creative operations across design, video, and social production. This team enables the development and delivery of integrated brand assets across the broader marketing ecosystem.

This role focuses on the production side of creative operations, with opportunities to help improve how work flows through our systems and teams. You’ll work closely with Production Operations partners to:

• Support production management across end-to-end creative projects
• Track creative deliverables, timelines, and status updates
• Assist with creative intake, briefing documentation, and routing assets for review and approval
• Conduct quality checks on final creative files before launch or upload
• Organize, upload, tag, and maintain assets within our DAM platforms (Frame.io, Airtable, AEM)
• Contribute to workflow improvements and light process automations
• Support campaign workflows while helping uphold brand standards
• Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and workflow discussions
• Provide day-to-day support across Creative Operations as needed

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll collaborate closely with teams across marketing, including:

• Creative & Production Operations Managers, who oversee workflows, priorities, and process strategy
• Creative Directors, Designers, and Producers, gaining visibility into how ideas evolve from concept to final execution
• External agencies and partners, learning how to manage external partners 

Please Note - Our internship program will be in-person in Charlotte, NC.

Minimum basic requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (junior or senior standing preferred)
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or coursework in marketing, advertising, production, creative operations, or project management (including academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities)
• Strong interest in marketing, creative production, and operations
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and details
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative team player who enjoys contributing ideas and learning from others
• Blend of creative thinking and analytical mindset
• Comfortable using common computer tools and eager to learn new systems
• Curious, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Major or coursework in Business, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Operations Management, Production, or a related field
• Experience in video production (academic, personal, or professional); portfolio or samples encouraged but not required
• Basic understanding of content development and production workflows
• Exposure to tools such as Frame.io, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Workfront, or Airtable
• Familiarity with other project management tools such as Workfront or Airtable.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including maintaining and updating complex spreadsheets
• Solution-oriented mindset with an interest in improving processes and workflows
