In this role you will:
• Lead the IKEA Industry Lithuania furniture production, ensuring a stable, efficient and safe production process, while focusing on employee development
• Oversee the entire production process – from material usage and production planning to finished goods and inventory control
• Set ambitious production targets and monitor their achievement
• Plan and control the production cost budget
• Be part of the management team and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Ensure high product quality as well as the implementation of new products and innovative projects
• Set short- and long-term departmental goals, monitor their execution and ensure alignment with the planned budget
• Foster effective communication, collaboration and continuous improvement across your team and other departments
We expect that you:
• Have 5+ years of successful leadership experience (experience in the furniture manufacturing sector would be a strong advantage)
• Hold a higher engineering or technical degree
• Are results-oriented and able to make quick, well-grounded decisions
• Have strong communication, organizational and planning skills
• Maintain a positive attitude, can motivate others and are driven by continuous improvement and innovation
• Communicate fluently in English and can effectively use it in a professional environment
