To support this mission, Syngenta’s Manufacturing Site is seeking a Production Manager at Enofyta, Viotia. This role will support the delivery of production goals and ensure activities are carried out in compliance with company Stewardship standards plus Greek & EU legislation for safety, health and environmental aspects.

Accountabilities

  • Provide Stewardship direction and visible commitment for all within the Production Department and ensure Stewardship responsibilities are clearly defined within the staff structure.
  • Monitor plant performance, review and record processes and prepare improvement plans for the production plant.
  • Identify needs and develop/provide instruction and training programs for the staff.
  • Process/technical support, including short and long-term development and project work (new product integration, plant extensions, new lines).
  • Ensure adequacy of production and distribution plans for most efficient labor planning and resources utilization.
  • Ensure the ISO 9001-2015 quality system and ISO 14001-2015 environmental system, Health and Safety System 45001-2018 are operated as per documented procedures establishing an environment of continuous improvement
  • Emergency procedures for production plants plus the support of the international transport emergency scheme.

Required Qualifications 

  • Strong Academic background in Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Chemist
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong People management skills
  • Strong HSEQ mindset
  • Fluent in Greek & English
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, ERP system

Desired Qualifications 

  • Good knowledge of SAP, Planning Tools will be a plus
  • Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment
  • Ideally P&L management experience
