Fluidra is looking for a Production Lead to join our team in Youngstown, OH.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Production Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day production and manufacturing processes in accordance with the DC’s daily production goal.

Monitor workers on site during production activities to ensure adherence to ethics and safety procedures.

Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality.

Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry.

Apply corrective action process when non-conformance is detected.

Motivate workers to enhance production quantity and at the same time maintain high production standards.

Check finished products to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use.

Communicate daily with other supply chain departments (Planning, Scheduling, Procurement, Inventory, Shipping, Inventory and Receiving).

Create work schedule for workers and ensure that they strictly adhere to it; take attendance to ensure regularity and promptness of workers to duty.

Work as middleman between workers and management to create healthy communication.

Implement and maintain 5-S principals for the Production area

Responsible for production goal attainment

Ensure that work materials are present as at when needed.

Maintain a safe clean workspace
WHAT WE SEEK
-
2+ years’ experience and/or training supervising in a fast-paced production/
manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems

Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent
