This role provides vital leadership for the Operations function at our Alphen aan den Rijn production site, specifically supporting the Graphics Solutions Business. As Production Lead / Coordinator you will manage a group of 40 Operators who's 3 Team Leaders report directly to you. Your primary mission is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of manpower, materials, equipment, and space. By aligning operations with core business plans, you will ensure the facility achieves excellence in reliability, quality, cost control, and safety. You will serve as a key driver of Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to maintain our position as a world-class manufacturing leader.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic vision and guidance for the manufacturing organization on-site, ensuring all operational processes are optimized for maximum output and quality.
Lead and manage ELS programs and Lean-Sigma manufacturing initiatives to drive significant improvements in quality, cost efficiency, and overall facility performance.
Direct all site safety, health, and environmental programs, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and local regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Oversee plant budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation, while establishing internal and external benchmarks to measure organizational success.
Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including the local Works Council and recruitment agencies, to ensure seamless operational continuity.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong process capability and execution skills.
Proven leadership ability within a complex matrix structure, with a track record of building collaborative, high-performing, and diverse teams.

Expertise in coaching and developing talent, including the ability to identify learning opportunities and provide impactful performance feedback.
Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and ELS operating principles to challenge the status quo and lead change effectively.
Professional fluency in both Dutch and English, with exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders and navigate a dynamic business landscape.
