JOB SUMMARY The Production Labor Analyst provides detailed analysis and visibility to labor factors for the production department, customer program management, and executive management teams. Take-off in your career, learn new skills and become part of a world-class workforce.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Through our extensive in-house training program, the successful applicant will be instructed via a series of computer based and hands-on training, the necessary skills of the position. 1.    1.      Provide Production Department, Customer Program Management department and Management team with a detailed hours analysis monthly, quarterly, and annually. 2.      Analyze and report labor factor actuals vs. projections, identify trends for areas of opportunities to increase the accuracy of the labor factor. 3.      Review and report statistical data on Variable Labor Factor(s) (VLF) accuracy rate for each department, including suggestions and / or alterations to the current VLF being utilized. 4.      Provide Production Department with HRs analysis monthly, quarterly and annually. 5.      Collaborate with Production Department and Customer Program Departments to highlight program issues, trends, opportunities. 6.      Detailed analysis of Production – Time Gates one (1) and two (2) to impact production department hour distribution and capacity planning. 7.      Assist with Industrialization process to determine projected labor factor. 8.      Confirm / approve labor factor change request to ensure consistency, standards, and accuracy are maintained. 9.      Audit work instruction standards – Labor type. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.  Manufacturing and / or repair experience (1-2 years) 2. Excel, MS Office applications 3. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills 4. Self-starter / conceptual thinking 5. Promote teamwork 6. Project management WORK ENVIRONMENT 1. Follow general shop safety procedures including the occasional use of safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and hearing protection. 2. Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 10 lbs. 3. Able to manually operate office equipment. 4. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
