Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This production position can be assigned to any department performing one or a combination of the following duties: Runner, Deboxer, Debagger, Palletizer, Scanner, Box Maker and other duties as assigned. Depending on the position, the employee will need to perform and understand the following:

Understand packing specifications

Maintain packaging pace and labor standards

Identify all products with general description
-
Identify all retail beef or pork packaging specifications

Understand grade, enhancement, ascorbic acid requirements

Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
-
Monitor package integrity quality standard
-
Understand product handling into appropriate machines
-
Open corrugated boxes and deposit product onto opening table.
-
Place boxes on skid for removal to dry storage dock
-
Verify label matches product in box
-
Label information accuracy
-
Verify label quality (scannable)
-
Understand specifications to include box configuration, sizes and pallet requirements
Qualifications
-
Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs
-
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Additional qualifications as needed
Work Environment
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
