Position overview
We are seeking a motivated Production Engineering Intern to join our electronics manufacturing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, working alongside experienced engineers to improve processes, boost productivity, and ensure the delivery of high-quality electronic products. The role is ideal for a student or recent graduate in engineering looking to apply their technical knowledge in a real-world manufacturing setting.
Role and Responsibilities
Assist production engineers in evaluating and improving manufacturing processes and workflows
Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
Participate in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements
Assist with creating and updating manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, design, and operations
Help implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles on the production floor
Contribute to equipment setup, calibration, and testing procedures under supervision
Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, electronics assembly, or process engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD, MATLAB, or similar tools is a plus
Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
