In this role you will work within Production Team to assist Production Operators with operations as defined by the Head of Production, Production Manager or Team Leader 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setup & operate specific mailroom equipment to ensure continuous production 
  • Complete pre-defined production checks 
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping within production areas 
  • Ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision 
  • Confidently makes decisions based on knowledge, experience and best practice 
  • Take responsibility to see assigned tasks through to completion 
  • Flexible in approach to tasks of variable nature and to identifying priorities 
  • Team player who puts the needs of colleagues and the department first 
  • Excellent Communicator who can engage with all levels of staff 
  • Takes personal responsibility and seeks to continuously improve 
  • Ensures all work is completed to the agreed standard/quality 
  • Adheres to H&S regulations & procedures  
  • Actively considers the impact of actions to the production environment 

Requirements

  • Good Mechanical aptitude
  • Health & Safety role model 
  • Desirable: Forklift licence or training provided
