Overview
The Entry-Level Production Artist plays a crucial role in the creative studio, supporting the design team by preparing, finishing, and ensuring the technical accuracy of creative files. This role focuses on the execution of design concepts and requires a keen eye for detail, strong software proficiency, and an eagerness to learn studio workflows.
Key Responsibilities
File Preparation & Execution:
Revises design files throughout the project life cycle with minimal creative lead oversight.
Prepares final art files for various production outputs (e.g., print, digital, large format).
Applies approved brand colors, logos, and design elements to documents and artwork.
Preproduction & Technical Knowledge:
Demonstrates general preproduction knowledge for print and digital mediums.
Utilizes working knowledge of digital development in Figma.
Applies working knowledge of PowerPoint to make basic edits to text and animation.
Asset Management & Organization:
Demonstrates strong organizational and file-management habits
Assists in maintaining, organizing, and tagging the studio's image libraries, artwork, and branding assets.
Ensures all project files are correctly saved, stored, and named according to established studio protocols.
Studio Support & Workflow:
Supports the studio in following established deadlines and workflows to contribute to the smooth and timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications
Experience & Education:
1 to 2 years relevant experience in a production environment or through intensive internships.
Preferred BS or BA in Graphic Design or a related field.
Software Proficiency (Essential):
Proficient in Figma for digital design work.
Proficient in the Adobe CC suite of applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to work with corporate templates.
