About the role

 

Our client develops tools, applications, and workflows designed to help users find financial information, guidance, products, and tools to make informed financial decisions that meet their unique individual needs.

 

We are looking for a self-motivated and talented UX Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong individual contributor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable to changing priorities, and capable of working efficiently within quick, iterative development cycles.



Main Responsibilities

 

  • Design user interfaces and experiences, focusing on creating mockups and prototypes
  • Work primarily in design tools like Figma to produce mockups and prototypes
  • Collaborate closely with Product Designers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project vision
  • Maintain a product-focused mindset, considering both design aesthetics and business impact
  • Incorporate business logic into design solutions to meet client needs
  • Stay updated on UX best practices, ensuring an intuitive user experience across web and mobile apps
  • Take ownership of tasks from start to finish with minimal guidance, demonstrating independence and initiative in the design process
  • This role requires a self-sufficient, proactive designer who thrives with autonomy
  • Be able to bring the Product Manager's vision to life without the need for constant check-ins or approval of every idea





Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least C1 level) with excellent communication skills
- 5-7 years of overall experience
- Proven experience with lead forms, web pages, marketing pages, and mobile web design
- Candidates will need to provide their portfolio
- Must have 6 hours of overlap with the Pacific Time Zone (candidates need to either live in a similar time zone or be willing to adjust their schedules to accommodate)
- They need someone with strong design systems thinking, UX design best-practices
- Proven experience with Figma
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Needs to be able to collaborate and effectively interface with the Product Manager and various other stakeholders (engineers, business stakeholders, etc.) but can also thrive/work well independently with minimal guidance
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
