Role Purpose:

As a Product Trainer for Breville, you will play a key role in elevating product knowledge, retail excellence, and brand passion across frontline teams. You will design and deliver engaging training experiences that equip staff with deep understanding of Breville’s premium coffee machines, ensuring consistency in service standards and driving sell-through across all retail touchpoints.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Develop and execute a structured training calendar aligned with product launches and marketing campaigns.

·        Conduct onboarding and ongoing product training for all new hires and existing frontline teams, focusing on product features, brewing techniques, and customer engagement.

·        Deliver both classroom-style and on-ground in-store coaching, ensuring training aligns with brand standards.

·        Assess and enhance staff selling skills, product knowledge, and overall performance through regular coaching and training checklists.

·        Continuously monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement.

·        Create, maintain, and update training materials and modules, including videos, manuals, and product guides.

·        Compile and submit training reports and evaluation results to local and regional stakeholders.

·        Oversee grooming standards and uniform guidelines to ensure brand-consistent representation at all retail points.

·        Support with retail staff performance assessments and development planning.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Minimum 4–5 years of training experience in retail, appliances, FMCG, or consumer electronics; experience with coffee or kitchen appliances is a strong plus.

·        Strong presentation, coaching, and communication skills.

·        Candidates must have prior barista experience.

·        Passionate about coffee, with a genuine interest in sharing product knowledge and barista-style techniques.

·        Experience in training content development and facilitation.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with e-learning platforms is a plus.
