As a PSE in the App Support pod, you would be part of few highly scalable and technically challenging systems such as Chimera (Config engine), JARVIS (Smart link, CTAs and Scripting engine), App Release Management, Troubleshooting issues for PhonePe & its sister apps like Pincode & Stockbroking.
You would be expected to understand the systems and their capabilities in depth and leverage them for business and product needs.
The primary tasks for this role would be operating the various in-house tools like Chimera, Jarvis, Bazooka and serving the requests of all the PODs ranging from Payments, Recharge, Bill Pay, Wealth, Insurance and Lending, You would also be assisting in rolling out the releases, being part of retro meetings, helping the teams resolve issues and roll out hotfixes.
While on the other hand, you'll be interacting with the developers in the team to understand the system better, escalate critical customer issues to them after having done the first level analysis yourself and partner with them for solutioning new constructs and platform requirements.
Since most of the configuration requests and high impact, high scale changes. You are expected to show focus and diligently follow the SOPs. The role requires quite a bit of stakeholder management and hence effective communication and organizing skills too are a must.

Experience: 1 to 4 years
Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering
Responsibilities:
* Diagnosing, troubleshooting and fixing production software issues and customer escalations.
* Developing and owning monitoring solutions for production and non-production environments and applications.
* Assist in the development of features/enhancements in existing stable systems/components.
* Understanding and working with other internal teams and their systems
* Have an intent to look at tasks from the automation lens, and eventually be capable of writing python script and aggressively automate manual tasks through scripting.
* Provide feedback from customers/users to the team.
* Maintain an on-call runbook, on-going record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an on-call tracking system.
