Join Vivo Energy Madagascar as Product Quality Control Lead to implement an effective Product Quality Management (PQM) at country level. You will provide with an expert product quality advice and support to businesses while ensuring delivery of cost effective and fit for purpose products and additivation operation lead.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Responsible for overall fuels product quality in an integrated manner from the supply source through distribution to Retail, Commercial customers and beyond.
  • Implement the relevant Product Quality Standards, Manuals, Equipment and Procedures to strengthen Product Quality performance across the supply chain.
  • Ensure Periodic reporting to the leadership team and Vivo Energy Quality Advisor on compliance performance in fuels Quality Assurance practices.
  • Respond for assessing existing Quality Assurance practices for the different supply chains in the country.
  • Responsible for Product Quality Incident (PQI) management within the country in accordance with the Vivo Energy Product Quality Incident Management Standard.
  • Advising/training staff and customers on Vivo Energy Quality Assurance policies and requirements.
  • Provide general product quality advice to Supply & Distribution, Retail and Commercial businesses
  • Issuing product waivers for general fuels
  • Link to the Vivo Energy Product Quality Manager on latest Product Quality developments and requirements
  • Managing the Vivo Energy controlled additivation assets or/and test installations and lead staff
  • Managing the product quality analysis related (fuel and additivation)
  • Responsible for new products regulatory compliance related to fuel

Requirements


Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Graduated Engineer preferably in the field of Chemical Engineering / Quality Management.
  • Experience in fuels quality management. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: product technical/sales support; product development; refinery (laboratory, economics and scheduling, oil movements) or technical/operational supply positions (e.g.: Supply Envelope roles; Supply projects etc.).
  • Previous experience of providing product technical support to customer, internal or external (governments; OEMs, NGOs) on product or HSE related issues preferred.
  • Having HSSE competencies in Investigation, Product stewardship, and risk management.
