ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on a mission to make Torneo the market’s top-tier tournament management software, and we need a tech-minded Product Owner to help us get there. Beyond managing the backlog, you will be the bridge between vision and execution, driving initiatives from the first spark of an idea through to global launch.

We expect you to be proactive and completely own the team's initiatives, from ideation and stakeholder management, through development to launch, growth, and maintenance. If you’re a leader who loves innovating, resolving blockers and driving growth in an agile environment, you’ll fit right in with our Torneo team.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Primary communicator of product vision and the link between stakeholders and the agile cross-functional team
• Lead and be accountable for achieving team goals and deadlines
• Proactively support the definition and execution of short- and long-term strategy
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, plan and iterate when needed, own user stories, and oversee the development
• Research and analyze competitors, industry, trends, users, and strategy for the product
• Collaborate with stakeholders like Business Development, Customer Support and the Marketing Team
• Foster strong interpersonal connections, mutual respect, and a positive competitive spirit

What you bring to the team

• 3+ years of experience working as a PO/PM in the tech industry
• Previous experience with agile methodology in software development
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative thinker with a vision
• Attention to details

• MA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar relevant field
