Product Owner - SaaS Application

Breaker19, a forward-thinking tech startup in the energy transportation and logistics sector, is seeking an experienced Product Owner for our SaaS applications. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of shaping our product strategy, defining the roadmap, and ensuring the successful delivery of features that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to gather user requirements, prioritize the backlog, and translate product visions into actionable tasks. You will act as the main point of contact for product-related questions and decisions, advocating for our users while balancing business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business goals, user needs, and market research
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and successful implementation of features
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product decisions
• Monitor and analyze product performance against key metrics and goals
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to support product launches and go-to-market strategies
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance product strategy

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes
• Experience in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing demands
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with product management tools (we currently use Linear)
• Passion for technology and a keen interest in user experience design
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
