Product owner - Messaging Services

We are looking for a passionate and driven Product Owner to lead our Messaging team, responsible for designing, enhancing, and operating our enterprise-wide communication and messaging services. In this role, you will define the product vision, set priorities, and ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and user‑centric messaging solutions across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, operations, security, and business stakeholders to evolve our messaging platforms and support our digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Messaging services.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical constraints, and strategic initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and collaborate with technical teams to ensure high‑quality deliveries.
- Gather input from users, stakeholders, and support teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure messaging solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Monitor KPIs and service performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with architecture to ensure alignment and platform scalability.
- Promote adoption of new features and drive change management activities.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Good understanding of enterprise messaging technologies (e.g., JMS Adapter, AMI).
- Good knowledge of cloud environments, preferably OCI.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- High level of autonomy, initiative, and ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise communication and collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring, automation, and integration frameworks.
- Certifications such as PSPO I/II, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM.
- Background in IT operations, engineering, or cloud services is a plus.
