Product Owner
TLDR
Own customer-facing tools driving scalable marketing solutions, translating business goals into prioritized backlogs, and leading cross-functional teams to enhance digital marketing strategies.
- Own the definition, implementation, and adoption of features across lifecycle and automated marketing products.
- Build, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog for sprint iteration planning, ensuring stories meet Definition of Ready standards before entering a sprint.
- Translate customer requirements and product vision into clear epics and user stories, articulating the "why" in addition to the "what".
- Partner with engineering, marketing operations, and channel specialists to ensure product features align with the capabilities and best practices of each platform.
- Participate in architectural discussions, identify dependencies, edge cases, and cross-team impacts early in the development cycle.
- Communicate risks, trade-offs, and progress across Engineering, UX, Security, and Leadership.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story refinement; deliver business-focused sprint demos.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (directors, product managers, and internal leadership) to ensure that designed solutions meet expectations.
- Become a go-to subject matter expert regarding digital marketing tooling and an evangelist for a data-driven culture within LeadVenture.
- Define and track success metrics (adoption, workflow efficiency, engagement, and lead conversion) to measure the effectiveness of delivered features.
- Monitor product usage and user feedback to inform future development.
- 2+ years of experience in product management or a product ownership/Agile delivery role.
- Demonstrated ability to decompose complex features into structured, development-ready user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Strong experience in a Scrum-based environment with knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with digital marketing services, including lifecycle marketing, email marketing, SEO, Reputation Management, and SEM.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and to work effectively with customer success, stakeholders, development, and sales groups.
- Proven ability to summarize and present complex findings and technical information clearly and concisely to various technical and management audiences.
- Analytical mind with a passion for digging into complex questions with an evidence-based approach.
- Strong attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to adapt to ongoing change.
- Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
