About the Fan Engagement Platform
Our Fan Engagement Platform powers personalized experiences across mobile apps, websites, and CMS tools. As the Product Owner, you will help shape capabilities that connect fans to the moments, content, and experiences they care about most. You will be involved in initiatives such as:
- Sports-focused fan engagement features across mobile, web, and CMS products, including schedules, rosters/lineups, standings, media, and live content
- Mobile interactive components such as maps, wayfinding, event timelines, push notifications, and gameday/live content workflows
- Personalization and segmentation driven by fan identity, ticketing behavior, and engagement patterns
- Integrations with ticketing, loyalty, analytics, game data feeds, and third-party engagement tools
- CMS-driven configuration that allows teams and leagues to build, manage, and update their digital experiences without engineering involvement
This role sits at the intersection of sports, technology, and user experience and plays a key part in shaping how fans engage with teams, leagues, and live events.
The Role
As a Product Owner at WMT Digital, you will play a hands-on role in driving the execution of our product roadmap. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to translate product vision into actionable requirements and ensure delivery of high-quality features that delight our clients.
This is an individual contributor role where you’ll manage the product backlog, define user stories, and prioritize work to align with business goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities

Backlog ownership: Manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery.

Requirements gathering: Translate business needs and customer feedback into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of features.

Customer focus: Partner with customer success and growth teams to understand client needs and validate solutions.

Delivery management: Support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure teams remain aligned and productive.

Data-driven decisions: Track feature adoption, collect feedback, and recommend improvements based on KPIs and user insights.

Market awareness: Stay current on trends in sports, music, and entertainment technology to inform backlog priorities and feature development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience writing user stories.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for delivering customer-focused solutions.
- Familiarity with mobile and SaaS platforms; experience in sports or music and entertainment industries is a plus.
