ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Product Owner at 321, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for defining, building, and evolving the agency's proprietary products and technology platforms. You'll leverage your full stack development background to bridge the gap between market opportunity and technical execution—transforming client needs and business strategy into scalable product solutions that drive revenue growth and competitive differentiation.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technical leadership, market intelligence, and AI-driven innovation. You'll bring deep expertise in technology implementation alongside proven ability to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver user-centered solutions. Your technical fluency combined with sophisticated AI integration will enable you to assess feasibility, make rapid build-versus-buy decisions, and create products that balance market needs with technical constraints and business objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own the product roadmap and vision for 321's proprietary offerings, including the 321 AIM (pay-per-lead) platform and other internal products and tools.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and client discovery to identify product opportunities that align with agency capabilities and market demand.
  • Define product positioning, target markets, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with business development and leadership.
  • Translate business objectives and client pain points into clear product requirements, user stories, and feature specifications.
  • Identify and prioritize AI-enhanced features and capabilities that create differentiation and drive product value.
  • Build business cases for new product investments, including revenue projections, development costs, and resource requirements.

Product Development & Delivery

  • Serve as the primary decision-maker for product scope, features, and priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain product backlogs, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications that guide development teams.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development approaches and tools like Replit, GitHub Copilot, and other AI coding platforms to accelerate product delivery.
  • Partner with development resources to architect scalable, maintainable solutions that balance functionality with time-to-market.
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities into products—including automation, personalization, predictive analytics, and intelligent optimization.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and feature prioritization sessions with cross-functional development teams.
  • Make rapid decisions on scope trade-offs, technical debt, and MVP definitions to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Review product increments and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure quality and alignment with requirements.

User Experience & Product Design

  • Define user personas, journey maps, and use cases that inform product design and feature prioritization.
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to design intuitive interfaces and seamless user experiences.
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product features based on real-world usage and data.
  • Ensure products meet accessibility standards and deliver exceptional experiences across devices and platforms.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance user experience through personalization, intelligent recommendations, and automated assistance.

Technical Leadership & AI Integration

  • Apply your full stack development expertise to evaluate technical requirements, assess integration complexity, and validate architectural decisions.
  • Guide technical decision-making for platform selection, API design, data architecture, and third-party integrations.
  • Architect and implement AI technologies throughout products—from chatbots and natural language processing to machine learning models and automated workflows.
  • Identify technical risks and dependencies early, developing mitigation strategies that protect delivery timelines.
  • Maintain and evolve the product's AI capabilities, evaluating emerging technologies and upgrading features to stay industry-leading.
  • Ensure products meet compliance requirements for regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC 2) and maintain security best practices.
  • Monitor AI/ML industry developments, making strategic recommendations for capability expansion and competitive positioning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Client Success, Digital, Creative, and technical teams to align product features with client needs and operational workflows.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into accessible language.
  • Partner with business development to scope new product opportunities, provide demonstrations, and support sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop product positioning, messaging, and launch campaigns.
  • Position 321's products as AI-forward solutions, demonstrating how intelligent automation and advanced capabilities drive superior outcomes.
  • Present product roadmaps, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with early adopter clients to gather feedback and validate product-market fit.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Define and track key product metrics including adoption rates, user engagement, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact.
  • Use AI for product analytics, user behavior analysis, and predictive insights that inform feature prioritization.
  • Conduct regular product reviews and retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to ensure product features remain relevant and differentiated.
  • Measure and optimize AI feature performance, tracking accuracy, efficiency gains, and user satisfaction.
  • Create feedback loops with users and internal teams to continuously improve product quality and value.



WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 7+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in product management/ownership and 4+ years in full stack development or technical implementation roles.
  • Proven track record launching and scaling digital products in SaaS, marketing technology, or agency environments.
  • Deep technical expertise across front-end development, back-end systems, API integrations, and database architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency with AI tools and platforms with demonstrated ability to integrate AI capabilities into product solutions.
  • Active practitioner of AI-enhanced development workflows with hands-on expertise using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Replit, GitHub Copilot, and other AI platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML capabilities, limitations, and evolving landscape, with ability to assess emerging technologies strategically.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, High Level) and marketing automation technologies, ideally with product development experience in these ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI-driven marketing platforms and understanding of multi-location marketing automation, lead generation, and attribution technologies.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product development frameworks, and user-centered design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product vision, build roadmaps, and prioritize features based on business value and technical constraints.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate product strategy to both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Ability to articulate AI value propositions compellingly and translate complex AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes.
  • Experience developing products for regulated industries (healthcare, legal, financial services) and understanding of associated compliance requirements is highly valued.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (Jira, Productboard, Aha!, or similar) and collaboration platforms including ClickUp and Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven approach to product decisions.
