Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Procurement and Operations Data Analyst to support our expanding product development, procurement, and operations functions. This role will drive operational efficiencies and deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting to enhance decision-making across procurement and project operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data analysis, procurement processes, and operational efficiency, ensuring high-quality support for both procurement and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Spend and Cost Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on spending trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support annual budget planning.
- Performance Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards for procurement and project metrics, providing insights into spending, vendor performance, and project KPIs.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Fulfill on-demand reporting requests for procurement and project operations to support executive decision-making.
- 2. Procurement Operations Support
- Vendor and PO Management: Manage purchase orders, vendor contracts, and renewals, ensuring compliance and optimizing procurement processes.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor expenses and forecast costs associated with vendor contracts to maximize value.
- 3. Project Operations and Workflow Efficiency
- Project Coordination: Assist PMs in tracking deliverables, monitoring timelines, and following up on tasks for project completion.
- Process Documentation and Improvement: Identify and document operational processes, streamline repetitive tasks, and reduce manual efforts through automation.
- 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Stakeholder Reporting: Collaborate with procurement, PMs, and leadership to ensure data needs are met and align with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in procurement, data analysis, project coordination, or a similar role in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Skills:
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies; experience with SQL, Excel, or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly preferred.
- Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and budget forecasting.
- Project Coordination: Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex information effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
