Product Manager, UX

AI overview

Lead product development and enhancements by collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and improve user experience on a large-scale documentation platform.

Why Mintlify?

We're on a mission to empower builders.

  • Massive reach: Our docs platform serves 100 million+ developers every year and powers documentation for 18,000+ companies, including Anthropic, Cursor, PayPal, Spotify, Coinbase, X, and over 20% of the last YC batch.

  • Small team, huge impact: We’re only 43 people today, backed by $22 million in funding, each new hire shapes the company’s trajectory.

  • Culture of slope over y-intercept: We value learning velocity, grit, and unapologetically unique personalities.

We grew in value faster than headcount and we’re looking to align the two quickly.

About the role

As a Product Manager at Mintlify, you will drive the evolution of the Mintlify product suite. You will work closely with customers to prioritize their requirements and ship improvements to Mintlify. You will work closely with the engineering, design, support, sales and marketing teams to uncover unmet needs and drive product expansion into new use cases that accelerate Mintlify's growth.

We seek a product manager who combines deep technical understanding, strong design sensibility, and sharp product intuition. You should be equally comfortable discussing customer feedback, debugging user workflows with engineers, iterating on UX to eliminate friction, and presenting product strategy. As our first PM at an early-stage company, you'll also be the one establishing how we prioritize, how we gather insights, and how we make product decisions—building the operating system for our product function.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead new product development through customer discovery, rapid iteration, and cross-functional coordination to drive measurable revenue growth

  • Be obsessive about user experience - we need someone who feels personally uncomfortable shipping clunky interfaces, who naturally thinks about edge cases and error states, and who can articulate why good UX drives business outcomes

  • Maintain product quality at scale by establishing processes that prevent degradation as our surface area expands and customer base grows

  • Build collaboration frameworks across EPD, support, sales, and marketing to ensure organizational alignment as the team scales

  • Validate pricing and product economics through customer research before handoff to sales, de-risking go-to-market strategy

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Have a combined 3+ years in product management and engineering, including at least 1 year as a professional engineer.

  • Have a deep technical background with experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams to ship products.

  • Track record of launching ambitious products that have achieved distribution or commercial success.

  • Have a creative, hacker spirit and love solving puzzles
