About the Role:

As a Product Manager for the Upgrade Card, you will drive the strategic evolution of a high-growth fintech platform by defining key initiatives and designing seamless product flows from conception to launch. You will leverage your technical fluency in SQL and AI-driven development to solve complex operational challenges and optimize product performance through rigorous data analysis. Collaborating cross-functionally in an entrepreneurial environment, you will play a pivotal role in scaling credit solutions that directly impact the financial health of our consumers.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and implement key initiatives for Upgrade’s credit card product, the Upgrade Card, including critical platform features and growth initiatives
  • Work closely with the internal teams and third-party vendors to monitor, troubleshoot and solve issues across the business 
  • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows.
  • Work cross-functionally to define, develop, launch and scale our product.
  • Analyze the impact of product features and define key metrics for success.

What We Look For: 

  • 2+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, ideally in fintech, consumer lending, or credit .
  • Ability to lead and resolve questions across organizational stakeholders.
  • Fluency with product development tools, SQL, web analytics, and A/B testing software and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code .

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience in financial services and credit card programs preferred. 
  • Previous experience as an analyst/data analyst/product analyst. 
  • Familiarity with credit card economics, underwriting concepts, or consumer credit products

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $160,000 - $180,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
