Who you are:

SumUp is seeking an exceptional Product Manager to drive the development and strategy of our Loyalty and point of sale solutions. This role will focus on delivering innovative products that empower small business owners while creating seamless consumer experiences. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payments, POS systems, and consumer-facing products, with a strong track record of shipping successful products that balance merchant needs with end-user delight. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This person will work in our Boulder, Colorado office.

What you'll do:

  • Own the product roadmap and strategy for our loyalty products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Define and prioritize features based on customer insights, market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time, managing trade-offs between scope, quality, and speed.
  • Drive product discovery through user research, A/B testing, and data analysis to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
  • Partner with design to craft exceptional user experiences for both merchants (B2B) and their end customers (B2C).
  • Define success metrics and KPIs, monitor product performance, and iterate based on learnings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
  • Contribute to the broader product strategy and influence company direction through structured product thinking and strategic insights.

What we're looking for:

  • 3-7 years of product management experience in software, with expertise in loyalty programs, consumer marketing solutions, point of sale systems, or payment technology.
  • Proven track record of shipping successful B2B or consumer-facing products that delivered measurable business impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive product decisions, define success metrics, and measure outcomes.
  • Experience conducting user research, synthesizing customer insights, and translating needs into compelling product experiences.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to partner effectively with engineering teams, understanding technical trade-offs and constraints.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and managing end-to-end product delivery.

Compensation:

  • Base salary range is $100,000 - $150,000
  • Compensation will be finalized based on the candidate's experience
