Product Manager Smart Data Capture Applications at Scandit Zurich

As a Product Manager for Scandit’s Smart Data Capture Applications (Keyboard Wedge, Enterprise Browser and others), you will be responsible for product managing a range of mobile software apps that leverage our advanced data capture capabilities and make them available to users without the need for any development or integration work at their end. 

Working at the intersection of technology and business, you’ll work with customers to identify their needs and challenges and work closely with our engineering team to guide development from conception to launch. You will also contribute to the Product Vision and Roadmap by engaging in research and feedback sessions with customers and relevant business stakeholders. You’ll also oversee sprint cycles and be accessible to engineers to answer questions and problem solve throughout the build cycle.

You will need to have a technical background, experience with software/mobile development, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, show a strong customer focus and have experience as a product owner/manager. Previous experience with mobile technologies or solutions is a requirement.

 What You Will Do

• Product manage a number of existing mobile products 
• Test product-market-fit of new product lines and features and coordinate the go-to-market
• Work with users to identify their challenges and coordinate the resolutions with our engineering team
• Own the backlog and prioritize building what matters most.
• Define the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience.
• Work closely with the engineering team to drive product development.
• Verify that the implementation meets user needs.

Who You Are

• Degree in Engineering or a Related Field 
• 2-3+ years of experience as a product owner/manager for a (mobile) software product
• Solid understanding of software development, ideally mobile development
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
• A solid mix of technical, UX skills and customer/user focus
• Open minded, sociable, and driven personality.
• Solid English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.
