Product Manager - SEEK Pass

About the role

As a Product Manager at SEEK Pass, you'll be part of a talented cross-functional squad building world-class products that add trust to employment-related claims. Our mission is to help candidates stand out to hirers while giving hirers confidence in their shortlisting and selection decisions.

You'll work alongside co-leaders from Engineering and Operations to form the leadership trio of your squad. In our shared leadership model, you'll be collectively responsible for the overall roadmap, design, delivery and optimization of critical trust-related products.

SEEK Pass is a cross-functional scale-up operating as a distinct business unit within SEEK. We have over 80 people across software engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams in Melbourne, Sydney and Kuala Lumpur. This Melbourne-based role may require occasional brief travel, and you'll report to the Principal Product Manager. While you won't have direct reports, you'll collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, operational staff, product people, and stakeholders across the broader SEEK group.

Responsibilities

• Own a product portfolio focused on the foundational capabilities and building blocks that accelerate our product strategy and delivery
• Develop deep knowledge of SEEK and SEEK Pass's strategy, products, and user needs to identify bottlenecks, friction points, and opportunities that can be leverage across multiple user journeys 
• Partner with your squad leadership team to set the vision, goals and OKRs that align with our strategy and support overall business objectives
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the SEEK group including Product Marketing, Design, and other Product Managers
• Monitor, measure and report on key metrics and outcomes influenced by your product portfolio
• Stay informed about relevant industry, government and competitor trends”

Essential Skills and experience

• Genuine belief in and passion for SEEK and SEEK Pass's purpose
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative products in high-uncertainty environments
• Experience defining product requirements, tracking performance, exploring drivers, and diagnosing issues
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical, data-driven approach
• Comfort and confidence navigating ambiguity
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills, with an ability to prioritize the critical few things that will have outsized impact for users

Desirable Skills and experience

• Well-developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Interest in innovation and new product development
• Familiarity with agile software engineering practices and concepts
• Experience in online marketplaces or other digital businesses
