Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. We are humble about the scope of our work, collaborative in our approach to problem-solving, and ambitious about our vision for the future.

This role follow a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Manager of Fleet & Event Response.

You will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Regulatory Reporting landscape affecting Waymo 
  • Determine what tools and process improvements are needed to efficiently meet all Regulatory Reporting requirements and operations needs
  • Work with engineers, UX and DS to automate reporting as much as possible 
  • Understand the role of each cross-functional team (operations, safety, on-call, regulatory, and legal, TPM) in all events that are of interest to regulators
  • Develop a clear point of view on goals and prioritization, including success metrics

You have:

  • BS degree in Computer Science degree or related technical degree 
  • 5+ years of product management experience at a highly technical, large scale organization
  • Strong bias-to-action, independence, and ability to execute
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a roadmap out of a large, unstructured space
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

We prefer:

  • MBA degree and/or consulting experience
  • Technically adjacent skills such as prior engineering or PM on technical product experience
  • Experience working with legal and public policy

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
