AI overview

Drive product compliance solutions for healthcare institutions across Europe, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance regulatory understanding and product delivery.

Strict new European Union medical regulations are putting healthcare manufacturers and laboratories at risk. Many lack the knowledge and resources to stay compliant—threatening closures, limiting diagnostic options, and ultimately compromising the quality of care patients receive.

This is where Platomics steps in. We are connecting and synchronizing healthcare to improve patient life by building innovative solutions that turn complex regulatory compliance into a fast, straightforward process.

Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team from across Europe.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join us on this journey.

The Role

The Product Manager supports key aspects of our product, contributing to discovery, delivery, and execution in a highly regulated environment. You will work closely with product, engineering, and regulatory colleagues while progressively taking ownership of defined product areas.

As a Product Manager at Platomics, you will:

  • Contribute to cross-functional product teams delivering compliant solutions used by healthcare institutions across Europe

  • Help shape and evolve a platform that connects manufacturers with healthcare institutions to exchange regulatory and product information

  • Support product discovery through customer interviews, market research, and collaboration with product, engineering, and regulatory teams

  • Collaborate with leadership on product initiatives or components end-to-end, from ideation through launch and iteration

  • Collaborate closely with regulatory experts and customer-facing teams, among other stakeholders

  • Apply a user-first mindset while respecting regulatory and quality constraints

  • Support product analytics and reporting (funnels, events, metrics) to inform decisions for your product area

📍: We are a distributed team and aim to create opportunities for people to come together in person. Our headquarters are in Vienna, Austria and while we are open to remote candidates, presence in Vienna Austria OR Munich, Germany is highly preferred.

What you bring to the table

  • 1–3+ years of experience in product management, product operations, engineering, or a related role

  • Solid understanding of core product management principles and eagerness to deepen your product thinking skills

  • Exposure to product discovery methods such as user interviews, problem framing, and solution validation

  • Analytical mindset with interest in product metrics, funnels, and user behavior

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage trade-offs, and ask for guidance when needed

  • Structured, detail-oriented way of working, especially important in regulated systems

  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of clearly scoped problems

  • Comfortable collaborating across product, engineering, and regulatory teams

  • Willingness to engage with customers for research, feedback, and learning

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

  • Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools

  • Familiarity with Figma or comparable design tools

  • Initial exposure to analytics or data tools such as Mixpanel, Metabase, or equivalents (hands-on experience is a plus, not a requirement)

  • Curiosity about regulatory systems and how software can simplify compliance

Nice-to-have:

  • Academic background in life sciences, healthcare, engineering, or a related field

  • Fluency in German, Italian, French, Spanish, or other EU languages

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as MedTech or FinTech
