Role

As a Product Manager Perception and Machine Learning, you will be at the forefront of bringing advanced AI capabilities to industrial automation. You collaborate with innovative partners and Intrinsic’s product engineering, customer solutions engineering, product management, UX, and commercial teams to inject computer vision and other machine learning technologies into industrial robotics automation. You get to visit Intrinsic’s partner and customer sites to fully understand problems and alternative solutions (travel requirements 10%). In this role, you bring our mission to life by letting the world reimagine what robots can do when they have the ability to see and learn.

How your work moves the mission forward

Work with customers to understand pain points in automation that can be solved with industrial perception and machine learning.
Collaborate with our internal engineering teams and other product managers to translate needs into technical requirements.
Prioritize requirements and deliver features incrementally, continuously gathering feedback from customers to maximize value.
Contribute to building a product roadmap and communicate it to stakeholders, peers, and customers for internal and external alignment.
Work with our internal user experience team (research and design) to pave the way for optimal UX.

Skills you will need to be successful

A bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
A proven track record of success as a product manager or similar.
Familiarity with computer vision and machine learning, optimally by applying it themselves in an industrial setting.
Understanding the opportunities and limitations of working with machine learning in an industrial setting.
Very good communication skills in both English and German, with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

Skills that will differentiate your candidacy

M.S. in engineering.
Deep familiarity with agile product management techniques.
Experience with building software for robotics automation.
Experience with building modular, scalable automation solutions.
Experience with projects that involve significant research & development.
