Product Manager

Drive the execution of OnLogic's global product strategy by managing product roadmaps and collaborating across departments to deliver innovative hardware solutions.

As a Product Manager onsite at our South Burlington, Vermont location, you help drive the execution of our global product strategy. You are solutions-oriented and possess a keen understanding of the industrial computing landscape. You’re adaptable and look to make a measurable impact within a high-growth company by turning market insights into world-class hardware solutions.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing Product Roadmaps: Executing clear product strategies and maintaining roadmaps aligned with business goals for assigned product lines.
  • Market Analysis: Gathering and analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive data to support data-driven product decisions.
  • Lifecycle Management: Guiding products through their full lifecycle—from initial concept and launch to maintenance and eventual obsolescence.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure seamless product execution and delivery.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively engaging with customers to capture feedback and translate those insights into actionable product enhancements.
  • Technical Requirements: Developing detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), ensuring products meet industry standards (MIL-STD, IEC) and reliability benchmarks.
  • Financial Performance: Assisting in pricing strategy development and monitoring product margins to ensure healthy profitability.
  • Launch Execution: Supporting product launches by creating technical positioning, sales enablement tools, and collaborating on marketing assets.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics to identify opportunities for continuous product improvement.

The team you will be joining:

Product management is the process of strategically directing every stage of the product lifecycle—from research and development to pricing and positioning—to build technically feasible products that fulfill both customer needs and business objectives. A famous quote from PM guru Martin Eriksson says product management is what happens “at the intersection between business, technology, and user experience.” In short: product managers analyze business, technology, and customer needs, then define product solutions and guide a product team to deliver them. Product management is a cross-functional role: effective product management involves cross-functional communication with organizational stakeholders, including C-level executives, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Product Management, preferably within Industrial Computing, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence model implementation, or rugged electronics.
  • A solid understanding of hardware design and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with business case development, cost analysis, and using data to drive product improvements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits or industry events.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Who we are looking for:

  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • An individual with a collaborative mindset who enjoys working across departments to get things done.
  • A professional who is detail-oriented regarding product specifications but never loses sight of the "big picture" customer need.
  • A proactive problem solver who is eager to grow their career within the industrial IoT and rugged hardware space.
