As a Product Manager for Scandit’s MatrixScan product range, you will be responsible for product managing the part of our computer vision stack that provides our MatrixScan capabilities. As the product manager for MatrixScan, you have the unique capability to give “superpowers” to workers and consumers and help them change the way they work and shop (http://bit.ly/3Hak6SW)

Working at the intersection of technology and business, you’ll work with customers and users to identify their needs and challenges and work closely with our engineering team to guide development from conception to launch. You will own the product vision and roadmap and oversee sprint cycles and be accessible to engineers to answer questions and problem-solve throughout the build cycle. You will be reporting to a senior product manager that oversees the overall product line. 

You will need to have a technical background, experience with software/mobile development, and strong product discovery and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, show a strong customer focus and have experience as a product manager in a strong product organization. Previous experience with mobile technologies would be preferred but experience in a technology-driven business will also be considered.

Your opportunity

As a Product Manager, you’ll be working right at the heart of our business at the place where our engineering and our customers meet. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

• Understand and communicate problems and challenges of users and customers
• Define requirements for features and solutions that are loved by our users and customers
• Work with the product team of UX experts and product marketing experts to prove usability and value of new features. 
• Own the product vision and backlog and prioritize building what matters most.
• Work closely with the engineering team to drive product development.

Who we look for

• Degree in Engineering or a Related Field
• 2-5+ years of experience as a product manager in a deep-tech company
• Solid understanding of software development, ideally mobile development
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
• A solid mix of technical, UX skills and customer/user focus
• Open minded, sociable, and driven personality.
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.
