What your new job can look like…

As the Product Manager for the LMS team, you will help drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our LMS flagship product, ensuring its success in the market. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration with Technical Architects, Developers, and UX team members to define the roadmap, prioritise features, and drive end-to-end product development.

Beyond product lifecycle management, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to enable seamless productisation, go-to-market strategies, and financial performance.  The role also will require strong engagement with the broader Moodle community and Partners as key stakeholders in this work.

What You’ll Do...

Most days in this role usually involve a mix of:

  • Work with the Product Director and Chief Product Officer to enact vision & strategy via the Roadmap
  • Coordinate development and roadmaps across product teams to manage dependencies and deliverables ensuring smooth product delivery
  • Use well-developed industry knowledge to strategically direct product development
  • Engage with community, customers, partners and the broader market to identify trends, industry challenges and problems that need solving, and uncover ideas for how to solve specific problems.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure they have the information they need to help deliver a viable solution.
  • Help manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships, this will be key to the success of this role
  • Manage a high performing, cross functional team by continuing to promote a culture of open communication and continuous improvement both within the team and modeling it more broadly within the organisation.
  • Deliver on the roadmap and priorities using your full range of skills as a product professional.

  • Proven SaaS/Cloud Product Management expertise, ideally in edtech, with deep customer and market understanding.
  • Leadership style – how you approach motivating teams, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Approach to problem solving – how you balance technical, commercial, and user needs to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Data-driven decision-making – your ability to leverage industry trends and analytics to anticipate challenges.
  • Agile & roadmap experience –  Scrum, prioritisation, and customer-centric product development practices.
  • Business-savvy executor – how you have aligned product strategy with financial goals and operational delivery in past positions.
