Role Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager with experience operating in large, matrixed life sciences organizations. This role requires comfort working within complex regulatory frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving delivery with hybrid onshore and offshore teams. You will own product direction while balancing client needs, technical feasibility, compliance requirements, and delivery realities.
This is a hybrid role with three days per week of on-site presence. Ideal candidate location would be San Francisco.
Requirements
- Lead product discovery and definition for life sciences solutions, translating complex scientific, clinical, and regulatory needs into clear product requirements.
- Own the product lifecycle from concept through delivery, iteration, and scale, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Partner closely with project management, engineering, design, and quality team members across onshore and offshore locations to drive execution and delivery.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and release plans in collaboration with technical leads and delivery managers.
- Operate effectively within highly regulated environments, ensuring products align with applicable GxP, data privacy, and validation expectations.
- Facilitate clear communication across global stakeholders, including client partners, leadership, and delivery teams.
- Balance strategic product thinking with hands-on execution in a services-based delivery model.
- Gather user feedback and usage insights to continuously improve product usability, performance, and adoption.
- Support change management, enablement, and rollout activities to ensure successful adoption across enterprise users.
- Translate advanced technology capabilities into practical, responsible product features.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in life sciences, or biopharma environments.
- Demonstrated experience working within large, complex organizations with global stakeholders and formal governance processes.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with hybrid onshore offshore delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of regulated product development, including documentation, validation, and audit readiness considerations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models within enterprise environments.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining structure, accountability, and forward momentum.
- Experience with data-driven, analytics, or AI-enabled products is a plus.
