By shifting from abstract AI probability to Outcome Assurance, we empower manufacturers to convert human quality expertise into a permanent digital asset. Our architecture is designed to eliminate dependency on manual intervention and specialized data science silos, ensuring Institutional Autonomy across global production lines.
Headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, our infrastructure safeguards hundreds of millions in annual revenue for OEMs and Tier-1 manufacturers. We operate with a "partnership-first" mindset, moving beyond traditional hierarchies to deliver institutional autonomy and the lowest total cost of ownership over decades. At Robovision, we don’t just build tools, we architect the foundation for industrial reliability.
Your role
As Product Manager for 2D Vision/Surface Detection, you own the company’s core commercial product line: 2D surface inspection products that deliver measurable quality outcomes at industrial scale. You are accountable for shaping standardized, repeatable product packages that can be deployed across multiple lines, plants, and customers.
You sit at the intersection of product strategy, engineering execution, and go-to-market. You translate customer and market signals into product evolution and act as the single business owner for every 2D surface detection outcome.
Key deliverables
A clear portfolio of 2D use-case packages, each with defined scope, success metrics, and lifecycle expectations.
Outcome definitions per use case, including how value is measured and tracked over time.
A prioritised product roadmap focused on scale, replication, and measurable business impact (business cases per PBI).
Product requirements that align with the broader platform and operating system, ensuring quality and consistency by default.
What you’ll do
Act as the single business owner for all 2D surface detection outcomes, and the point of contact for Sales and Marketing in your product domain.
Lead product discovery and validation activities with relevant stakeholders, customers, and partners.
Own and maintain lightweight documentation for existing and upcoming product capabilities.
Translate customer and market signals into product evolution.
Champion business impact awareness across your product initiatives, and report periodically on outcomes.
Own business KPI tracking on all of your product initiatives, with a clear reporting cadence.
Set the prioritisation of the 2D items in the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities, customer impact, and roadmap intent.
Partner with the Product Owner to convert strategic outcomes into execution-ready scope, and with the UX/UI Lead by advising on the discovery, reporting, and validation plan for your domain.
Requirements
What you bring
7+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B, technical, or industrial environments.
Proven track record of owning product portfolios with measurable business outcomes — not just feature delivery.
Strong commercial instinct: you can translate ROI and lifecycle cost into product decisions.
Experience defining KPIs, SLAs, and outcome metrics for productised solutions deployed at scale.
Comfort working in an agile development environment (Scrum) and with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, sales, and marketing.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to clearly explain product decisions, defend scope, and align senior stakeholders.
A pragmatic mindset: you protect product consistency over scope creep and one-off requests.
Ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals without losing sight of the long-term product vision.
You are fluent in English, knowing Dutch is considered a serious plus.
Nice to have
Experience with industrial AI, computer vision, or data-heavy applications.
Familiarity with productised AI/ML lifecycles, including how model performance is monitored and maintained over time.
Exposure to OEM business models or end-customer environments in food, semiconductor, packaging, or logistics.
Experience working alongside Product Owners, UX leads, or platform product managers in a multi-PM organisation.
Basic understanding of how machine learning models behave in production over time.
