  • Drive effective implementation by balancing end-user value with delivery timelines, making smart trade-off decisions between long-term goals and short-term requirements, and escalating complex decisions appropriately.
  • Manage strategic product risks by assessing market fit and technology choices, leading mitigation efforts for high-impact risks, making data-backed decisions under uncertainty, and equipping stakeholders with information for risk mitigation decisions.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Extract meaningful insights from dashboards and metrics to assess initiative impact, make data-informed recommendations, and identify analytics gaps that improve decision-making.
  • Execute user research by selecting appropriate feedback methods, coordinating with company tools and teams, and translating insights into actionable product enhancement recommendations.
  • Evaluate product designs, provide specific improvement recommendations, guide design direction with visual problem-solving, and drive product consistency by referencing design patterns.

Product Strategy

  • Build and execute initiatives that advance team goals, deliver post-launch analysis with clear next steps, achieve commitments, and communicate proactively when targets shift.
  • Influence team roadmap by connecting work to goals and recommending forward-looking strategies to better achieve objectives.
  • Contribute meaningfully to pillar and company strategy through product decisions and execution.

Influence & Leadership

  • Align stakeholders across current and future initiatives, integrate feedback, recommend optimal paths forward, and escalate decisions when needed.
  • Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, take ownership of outcomes, communicate priorities and trade-offs, remove blockers, and mentor junior team members to build a culture of accountability.
  • Report status and outcomes to senior management, surface blockers proactively, maintain alignment with your manager on expectations and feedback, and pursue career development opportunities.

Skills and experience

  • Strong learning orientation and growth mindset with previous experience in product management
  • Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable with ambiguity – capable of adapting as context shifts, prioritizing amid competing demands, breaking constraints to get things done, and willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where required
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated empathy and ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships across disciplines and regions, balancing diverse perspectives to reach better outcomes
  • Customer-centric approach – uses customer feedback, forums, and the right mix of qualitative research and quantitative analysis to understand underlying customer needs and market insights; partners with design to craft intuitive, pattern-consistent experiences
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills – ability to break down problems and make sound decisions with limited information, using a test-and-learn mindset driven by data
  • Experience in or willingness to learn analytical tools and techniques – defines success metrics, interprets dashboards, runs sound experiments (e.g., A/B tests) with basic statistical judgment, and applies hypothesis-led research and experimentation
  • Willingness to learn and apply Agile delivery practices – facilitates squad rituals, manages backlogs/roadmaps and acceptance criteria, and uses Jira/Confluence for transparent workflows
  • Ability to translate ambiguous goals into clear product specifications and lightweight prototypes with the right level of detail to enable smooth delivery
  • Strategy and risk orientation – connects work to business objectives, prioritizes a focused roadmap, and derisks viability, feasibility and desirability through prototyping and experimentation
