The Senior Product Manager (SrPM) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and empowering Product Managers (PMs), defining and implementing processes, standards, and best practices, and fostering the development of the product team. The SrPM will act as a key driver of product excellence, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision while enabling the team to deliver impactful solutions. This role combines strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and team leadership to elevate the product function across the organization.
Your mission will be lead the product organization by establishing robust processes, frameworks, and standards that enable Product Managers to thrive. The SrPM will focus on developing the team’s capabilities, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products, and driving innovation across the product lifecycle. This role also involves defining strategic priorities, mentoring PMs, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You Will Be Doing:
Act as a mentor and coach for Product Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Develop and implement training programs, workshops, and resources to foster professional growth within the product team.
Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the product organization.
Define and implement standardized processes, frameworks, and best practices for product discovery, development, and delivery.
Establish clear guidelines for product ceremonies (e.g., discoveries, ideation sessions, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategies with business goals and market opportunities.
Lead the definition of KPIs and metrics to measure product success and team performance.
Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between product, engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment by clearly articulating product vision, strategy, and progress.
Identify opportunities to challenge and disrupt the business, always seeking the next big idea.
Lead market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and refine existing products.
