What You Will Be Doing:

  • Act as a mentor and coach for Product Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Develop and implement training programs, workshops, and resources to foster professional growth within the product team.

  • Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the product organization.

  • Define and implement standardized processes, frameworks, and best practices for product discovery, development, and delivery.

  • Establish clear guidelines for product ceremonies (e.g., discoveries, ideation sessions, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization) to ensure consistency and efficiency.

  • Periodically review and refine workflows to improve team productivity and product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategies with business goals and market opportunities.

  • Lead the definition of KPIs and metrics to measure product success and team performance.

  • Drive the prioritization of initiatives across the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between product, engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments.

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment by clearly articulating product vision, strategy, and progress.

  • Represent the product team in executive meetings, providing updates and insights on product performance and opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to challenge and disrupt the business, always seeking the next big idea.

  • Lead market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and refine existing products.

  • Drive experimentation and innovation through MVPs, pilots, and iterative development.

What You Need for this Position

  • Relevant experience in product management, including leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing product teams.
  • Strong ability to define and implement processes, frameworks, and standards for product management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience navigating trade-offs to deliver quality products on predictable timelines.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Asana, or similar project management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
  • Sharp attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of product management.
  • Availability for in-person work at fairs and events throughout the year.
