Job Summary: 

Ruggable has an immediate need for a Product Manager to join our Ecommerce team! This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Product Management as part of our fast-growing, high-performing Marketing team. This person will be responsible for, among other things, the planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of conversion rate optimization, A/B testing and personalization. This person needs to be a detail-oriented, analytical, strategic, and creative thinker who is driven by data and has a passion for working in a fast-paced technical environment. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes
  • Draft user stories, create detailed product specifications, and establish clear success criteria for testing purposes
  • Collaborate directly with engineers to facilitate the launch of new products and features, conduct performance testing, and iterate rapidly
  • Articulate the underlying "Why" of a feature or epic effectively to developers
  • Harness the power of data analytics to continuously monitor product performance, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and drive data-centric decision-making
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with various teams within the organization, streamlining internal processes and optimizing for scalability

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in product management, engineering, data science, or a related product-focused role
  • Proficiency in REST, or GraphQL APIs
  • Mastery of Analytics tools (e.g., Heap, Google Analytics)
  • Experience using wireframing and design tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Competency in HTML and CSS
  • Strong critical thinking abilities
  • Aptitude for collaborative problem-solving with team members
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Eagerness to “learn by doing” in new technologies, tools, or skills
  • Local to the Chicago area to be onsite in a hybrid capacity 

Preferred:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in Ecommerce
  • Competency in JavaScript (React) and Node.js
  • Familiarity with Headless Ecommerce using Vercel and Shopify
  • Experience working with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, OpsGenie, etc.

Compensation:

  • $100,000 - $115,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
