Create the Future of Travel With Us
Whether it's visiting the people closest to us, starting an exciting adventure, or a career-defining business trip, travel is essential. Yet we've all experienced the aches and pains of getting to our destination.

More than 4 billion airline passengers rely on technology that hasn't kept up with modern expectations. That's why we're rebuilding the infrastructure that underpins the travel industry - simplifying systems and building tools that will make the future of travel effortless.

We were part of Y Combinator S18's cohort and we're backed by Benchmark, Blossom, Index Ventures, and Kima Ventures - a fantastic set of investors that has helped build some of the world's largest companies.
Our London team is growing, and we're looking for talented people to join us on our journey.

Ground Transport at Duffel
Ground transport (cars and trains) is the latest vertical we're preparing to launch at Duffel, after Flights and Stays. As a combined $200B+ market, ground transport is often the final piece of leisure or corporate trips. Our goal is to deliver a product that offers the same experience our customers have come to expect with Duffel: simple, well-documented APIs and powerful abstractions to build outstanding booking experiences without having to know or understand the complexity of the industry.

What You'll Do
As the first and only Product Manager on the Ground Transport team, your role is to ensure we build the best ground transport API product on the market and successfully launch this new vertical. You'll develop a deep understanding of the car rental and rail industries, identify pain points for both sellers and suppliers, set the product strategy, scope new features, and help drive prioritisation and execution with Engineering.

Your Responsibilities:
🎯 Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ground Transport, aligning it with Duffel's overall business and product strategy
🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth product delivery and successful adoption
📊 Performance Monitoring: Define key metrics, track product performance, and iterate on features based on data, customer feedback, and business objectives
💬 Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate in both written and spoken form. Structure your ideas logically, communicate tradeoffs, and explain complex technical concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners
Execution: Drive execution and get things done, working with your team's engineers and other stakeholders—internal and external—to get a project over the line
Bonus: Experience in travel, particularly cars or trains

What You'll Get:
💰 Competitive salary + equity (you'll own part of Duffel)
🏝️ Work from anywhere policy
🛩️ Duffel travel allowance (use what we build)
🍼 Matched parental leave
🧘‍♂️ Sabbatical programme (3 months full pay)
