What does Jar do?
With seamless ease of use, we provide users the ability to withdraw their savings directly to their bank accounts as cash or receive physical gold, which is delivered right to their doorstep.
Furthermore, Jar empowers individuals with a flexible line of credit, starting at ₹1000, offering instant access to funds when needed. Amidst this transformative journey, Jar also offers contextual health insurance options, helping users safeguard their' savings from crippling financial emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital collections strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify key areas for improvement and innovation in the loan repayment process.
- Leverage user-centric design principles to optimize communication strategies for increasing digital collections.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create impactful and user-friendly communication materials.
- Conduct user research to gain insights into the motivations behind various repayment behaviours.
- Formulate hypotheses based on data and research findings to enhance digital collections.
- Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and identify effective strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, marketing, and operations to implement and execute experiments.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to oversee the implementation of the Collections Service and Reconciliation Service
- Ensure that the services are developed according to technical requirements and industry best practices.
- Work closely with the technical team to integrate secure payment gateways for manual payments, e-mandate presentations, and foreclosures.
- Validate the implementation to guarantee a seamless and secure payment processing system.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design and execute experiments that require technical implementation.
- Analyze technical metrics and data to derive insights for improving digital collections.
- Work closely with security experts to ensure the implementation of SSL/TLS, encryption, and other security measures to protect user data and financial transactions.
Technical Requirements(good to have):
- At least 2+ years of experience working as a product manager, ideally in a Lending (Loan) Products
- Independent and curious, you set your targets, ask for help when you need it, and are always looking to learn something new
- Understanding of Backend Technologies: Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, or Python. Knowledge of database systems, including MongoDB and MySQL.
- API Integration Skills: Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, especially for third-party services and mobile app communication.
- Payment Gateway Integration: Familiarity with payment gateway integration. Understanding of secure payment processing.
- Security Protocols: Knowledge of security protocols, for secure data transmission and encryption for sensitive data.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and ensure the successful implementation of technical features.
