Product Manager
Reports to: VP Product
Purpose
CFI is looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Product & Engineering team. This role will be responsible for owning the execution and delivery of specific product initiatives that support CFI’s product strategy and business goals. The Product Manager will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and VP of Product to manage the product backlog and prioritize sprint efforts. Along with this, they will define the scope and requirements of various features, translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, and work closely with Engineering, Design, Content, Customer Experience, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
A Product Manager at CFI is expected to run initiatives end-to-end, and will be supported by a Senior Product Manager. They are expected to make sound prioritization decisions and reliably turn strategy into shipped value.
Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end delivery of specific product features and initiatives, from discovery through launch and iteration.

Partner closely with Engineering and Product Design to plan, scope, and execute sprints effectively.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and delivery effort.

In combination with the product designer, conduct customer, user, and market research to inform product decisions.

Write clear, well-structured product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Support roadmap execution by breaking down larger initiatives into well-sequenced deliverables.

Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early and escalate appropriately.

Deliver product updates to internal stakeholders, including sprint demos, release notes, and documentation. Manage CFI’s monthly What’s New articles, viewed by users.

Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Content, and Marketing to support launches, adoption, and feedback loops.

Track product performance metrics and use data to inform iteration and prioritization.

Take opportunities to learn quickly, prioritizing learning over building perfection.

Contribute to improving product processes, tooling, and ways of working.
Skills & Competencies

2-4 years of experience in B2B or B2C SaaS Product Management.

Technical knowledge that supports working with developers in Europe.

Experience or passion for Edtech would be beneficial.

Proven ability to manage a backlog and deliver features from concept to launch.

Strong analytical thinking and comfort using data to support decisions.

Solid understanding of prioritization frameworks and tradeoff analysis.

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

High ownership mindset with strong execution discipline.
- Working knowledge of agile software development and collaboration with engineering teams.
