CAIS is the pioneer in democratizing access to and education about alternative investments for independent financial advisors, empowering them to engage and transact with leading asset managers on a massive scale through a wide variety of alternative investment products and technology solutions. CAIS provides financial advisors with a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes. CAIS also delivers industry-leading technology, operational efficiency, and world-class client service throughout the pre-trade, trade, and post-trade experience. CAIS supports over 50,000 advisors who oversee more than $6 trillion in network assets.
We are looking for a product manager to join our growing team. This is an individual contributor role working within a portfolio of product managers that report into the group PM of alternative investments. This role will be pivotal in simplifying the process of managing, analyzing, and trading alternative investment products, likely focusing on a given lifecycle stage (product discovery, trade execution, post-trade management) in part, while also ensuring seamless connectivity across the larger user journey.
The product manager will work closely with one or more product ‘squads’ of engineers and designers, as well as stakeholders across multiple teams, including investments, sales, client services, operations, and marketing to identify product opportunities, coordinate design and development plans, and manage delivery timelines. The ideal candidate is passionate about using creativity to solve complex problems within the wealth management industry for user groups including independent financial advisors and asset managers.
In addition to serving as a product manager focused on alternative investments, this role joins a broader product team ranging in background and experience. While each product manager ‘owns’ their product area and often works end to end, PMs are held accountable to standard deliverables (PRDs, JIRA boards / tickets, etc.), plan as a team, and work towards a shared strategic product experience vision.
