About AngelList
We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We do this by building the financial infrastructure that makes it easier for more people to invest in world-changing companies.
AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support $124B+ in assets and have powered investments into over 12,000 startups—over 300 of which are unicorns. Today, 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList. While our scale is large, our ambition is larger.
If you're excited to build the future of private markets, come build with us.
About the Role:
As the Product Manager for our Banking business, your focus will be to grow invested capital volume and banking deposits by launching new banking products designed specifically for private funds and their investors.
Unlike traditional banks that treat funds like operating companies, our banking systems are built around the unique workflows of capital movement — subscriptions, capital calls, and distributions. With this foundation in mind, you’ll study the challenges of our target customers and drive a uniquely differentiated product strategy that turns us into the default banking layer for private markets.
You’ll enjoy this role if you’re excited by taking products from 0 to 1 and you’re passionate about building systems that underpin private markets and drive capital to entrepreneurs building our future.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the roadmap to grow deposits and invested capital volume
Scale our banking platform into the default infrastructure for private fund capital flows
Build resilient, cost-efficient integrations and contingency strategies across our banking stack
Source, evaluate, and onboard new partners to strengthen coverage, improve economics, and expand capabilities
Develop trusted relationships with customers and internal teams, turning complex operational needs into intuitive, differentiated products
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, banking operations, or fintech — ideally with exposure to B2B financial infrastructure or banking integrations
Are fluent in financial systems, banking APIs, and the mechanics of money movement
Thrive in high-ownership environments and are motivated by ambitious growth outcomes
Combine strategic vision with operational empathy — able to design the roadmap while also sweating integration details
Are equally comfortable negotiating with banking partners, debugging flows with engineers, and presenting strategy to executives
