CaseWare

Product Manager, Assurance Platform

CAD $115,000 – CAD $130,000 per year

TLDR

Drive product strategy for cloud-based assurance workflows by blending financial audit expertise with product management discipline at a pivotal moment for AI-driven audits.

Caseware is one of Canada's original Fintech companies, having led the global audit and accounting software industry for over 30 years, with more than 500,000 users across 130 countries and available in 16 different languages. While you might not have heard of us (yet) over 36,000 accounting and audit professionals list Caseware as a skill on their LinkedIn profiles! What you will be doing:

Assurance Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Serve as a key internal subject matter expert on assurance workflows and financial audit methodology — for product, engineering, sales, and partner teams.

  • Engage with global partners and key customers at a professional, peer level — understanding their workflows, challenges, and evolving expectations.

  • Ensure that platform features are developed to enable and support compliant solutions.

  • Bring credible audit practice perspective into product decisions, helping teams bridge the gap between what auditors say they want and what they actually need.

AI & the Future of Audit:

  • Actively engage with AI tools in your own daily work – Caseware expects and enables this across the entire team.

  • Contribute your expertise to the development of AI-driven product capabilities, help define what AI-assisted audit should look like, what makes sense methodologically, and where AI creates real value for auditors.

  • Stay current on how AI is reshaping audit workflows, regulatory expectations, and the profession as a whole – and bring that perspective into product decisions.

Product Strategy & Ownership:

  • Own the product roadmap, collaborate with other PMs to ensure key pain points/solutions are understood and prioritized.

  • Define and prioritize requirements based on customer feedback, and market trends.

  • Coordinate cross-functional release readiness with platform, consulting, support, and partner-facing teams

  • Act as a primary product contact for global partners, translating their needs into actionable platform improvements.

  • Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Support, and Consulting to channel customer insights and escalation feedback into the roadmap.

  • Communicate product decisions, priorities, and trade-offs clearly to a diverse set of stakeholders across geographies

What you will bring:
  • 3–5 years of product management experience

  • Meaningful hands-on experience in financial audit or assurance — you understand audit workflows from the inside and can engage with auditors at a peer level.

  • Strong ability to translate domain expertise and customer feedback into clear, prioritized product requirements.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams in a global environment.

  • Openness and genuine curiosity about AI — you actively engage with AI tools and see them as part of how modern product work gets done.

  • Familiarity with audit standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial engagements (e.g., ISA, GAAS, PCAOB).

  • Experience with Caseware's audit or engagement management software.

  • Exposure to platform thinking — building capabilities that are consumed by downstream partners or product teams rather than end users directly.

  • Experience in a global or multi-market product environment
