We’re looking for a sharp, mission-driven Product Manager to report into the Player Account Management domain and own the Holistic Onboarding Journey—the critical Zero-to-One phase of the PrizePicks user lifecycle.
In this role, you are the Product Leader for Acquisition. You are not just building a funnel; you are architecting the first impression that defines a user's lifetime value. You own the Pipe (conversion engine) and help shape the Spark (emotional hook). Your mission is to guide users from Anonymous Visitor → Verified → Excited Player, ensuring they see the value proposition immediately and convert into loyal, retained customers.
What you’ll do:

Onboarding Strategy & Orchestration:
- Architect the Loyalty Narrative: Go beyond getting a user Ready to Deposit. Stitch together disparate steps (Sign-Up, KYC, Terms, Promo Entry) into a cohesive narrative that proves why PrizePicks is the best place to play. Create the spark that turns a registrant into a loyal, long-term player.
- Drive Personalization at Scale: Partner with Marketing, Engagement, and Analytics to tailor the experience based on user intent. Ensure that a user arriving from a specific referral or sports vertical sees a customized path that maximizes their chance of converting.

End-to-End Funnel Execution:
- Web & Landing Architecture: Partner with Marketing and UX on the creative strategy for the PrizePicks landing experience (.com and non-logged-in). Define the Web-to-App bridge to drive traffic into the app with minimal drop-off.
- Identity & Compliance UX: Manage the user-facing side of account creation and verification. Own the delicate balance of Compliance vs. Conversion—ensuring we capture necessary risk data without killing the excitement or motivation.

Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Strategic Voice for Growth: Actively define how we get people in the door. Partner with Marketing and Engagement to align the UX with the advertised value prop, ensuring a seamless match between the Ad and the App.
- Lead Fraud & Security Strategy: Analyze and normalize funnel data to help the Fraud team distinguish Signal from Noise. Define product logic that keeps out bad actors while creating a fast lane for good users.

Experimentation & Optimization:
- High-Velocity Testing: Drive high-velocity experimentation. You represent the scientific lead for the funnel, designing A/B tests on UI elements, copy, and flow logic to systematically improve Visitor-to-Reg and Reg-to-KYC throughput.
What Success Looks Like
- Onboarding Velocity: Reducing the Time-to-Value (TTV) from App Open to First Entry Placed, ensuring users see the value prop right away.
- Funnel Throughput: Improving the conversion rate of legitimate users through the full onboarding funnel (Visitor-to-Verified).
- Seamless Handoffs: Zero errors or friction in passing new users from the Onboarding flow to the Payments/First-Time Deposit (FTD) experience.

Data Integrity: Establishing trusted baselines for funnel performance that accurately normalize bot traffic to provide clean executive reporting.
What you have:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, specifically in Onboarding, Registration, or Growth funnels.
- Strong Data Literacy: You understand how to separate signal from noise (e.g., filtering bot spikes from conversion analysis).
- Experience with Identity Verification (KYC) flows and the trade-offs between regulatory requirements and UX.
- Ability to partner with technical teams (Fraud/Engineering) without needing to own the backend security stack yourself.
- Experience building products across web and mobile apps (Apple and Android app stores).

- Background in real-money gaming, fintech, or regulated industries where Account Creation is complex.
- Familiarity with risk-adjusted metrics and analyzing funnels in high-bot environments.
- Deep empathy for users experiencing a product for the first time.
- Obsessive about sports and/or sports betting/fantasy.

- This is a hybrid position (approx. 3 days/week) based out of our brand new offices in Atlanta, GA.
