About The Role
We’re looking for a UX-first Product Experience Product Manager to join the Growth team to own and evolve the cross-platform product experience, so Dealfront feels like one coherent product, not a set of disconnected parts.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of product and design. Your mission is to define the product’s mental model, information architecture, navigation, and end-to-end customer flows, and turn product intent into high-quality, shippable UX. You will lead discovery and user research, create prototypes and high-fidelity designs, and partner closely with engineers and PMs to ship improvements throughout the full development cycle.
You’ll work closely with our Principal Design Director, who owns the design system, processes, and tooling. While they set the system and direction, you will drive daily experience execution and refinement across the product surface.
This role does not own a specific product area, but works across multiple teams and product surfaces to improve the product experience holistically.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product experience: Drive the cohesive experience layer across the product, including onboarding, navigation, global entry states, empty states, next best actions, upgrade flows but also core product experiences such as automations, integrations.
- Define information architecture and mental model: Map and evolve the structure, naming, and mental model that helps users understand where they are, what they can do, why it matters and connect it to our marketing and messaging.
- Design customer journeys and flows: Map and design end-to-end user journeys across multiple product areas, ensuring the “red thread” from sign-up to first value to repeat value.
- Prototype and produce high-fidelity UX: Create prototypes and high-fidelity designs by leveraging AI, that engineers can build from, refining concepts into polished user experiences.
- Lead user research: Plan and run qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, usability tests, concept validation, and experiment learnings.
- Craft product and UX copy: Own key UX microcopy and product messaging inside the UI to reduce friction and increase clarity, confidence, and action.
- Product Management: Work throughout the full product development cycle with engineering and PM counterparts, from discovery to build to testing to post-release evaluation.
- Create reusable experience patterns: Establish patterns and conventions for flows, components, empty states, default states, and guidance that core teams can adopt.
- Leverage data and AI: Use analytics and AI tooling to identify friction, accelerate prototyping, speed up iteration, and inform decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in product management with a background in product design, UX, or a hybrid UX-PM role, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Hands-on UX Skills: Strong experience designing customer journeys, flows, and interaction patterns across a complex product surface.
- Prototyping and high-fidelity design: Proven ability to produce prototypes and high-fidelity designs that are ready for implementation.
- User research craft: Experience running qualitative and quantitative user research, usability tests, and experiments.
- Technical fluency: Comfortable collaborating deeply with engineers, writing clear PRDs, and owning work throughout the implementation.
- Data savvy: Strong analytical mindset with experience using product analytics tools and SQL to identify opportunities and validate impact.
- AI Fluent: Comfortable using AI tools for prototyping, iteration, and building fast. Bonus if you have experience building AI-powered product experiences.
- Front-end understanding: Familiarity with HTML/CSS and modern front-end development. You don’t need to code production systems solo, but you understand how products are built.
- Mindset: You are autonomous, highly collaborative, growth-minded and impact-driven, with a strong bias for shipping.
- Be physically located within Europe.
Success Metrics:
- Improve activation metrics such as setup and first value rates, and time to first value.
- Improve retention metrics such as return, adoption, and habit rates.
- Improve customer experience holistically, measured by NPS and retention.
- Increase trial-to-paid conversion, upsell, and cross-sell rate.
- Improve usability outcomes through research-driven iteration, measured via task completion, qualitative feedback, and reduced friction points.
- Reduce cycle time from insight to shipped UX improvement by making experience changes easier to prototype, validate, and implement.
- Increase number of experiments and experiment velocity.
Benefits
- The chance to work with a very knowledgeable, high-achieving and fun team.
- An international, diverse, dynamic and committed work environment.
- The opportunity to work remotely, with a flexible work schedule.
- Mental Health support with Auntie.
- Annual company retreats in sunny locations and team off-sites :)
