Job Overview:

We're seeking a Product Engineer L1 to join our dynamic engineering team. This role focuses on single feature or component development with AI assistance, working closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality product features. You'll be at the forefront of AI-assisted development, learning to effectively collaborate with cutting-edge tools while building 

What Your Work Will Entail:

Development & Implementation

• Leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for feature development
• Execute AI-generated code integration under senior guidance
• Support testing and debugging of AI-assisted implementations
• Follow established coding standards for AI-assisted workflows
• Participate in sprint planning and story estimation

AI Collaboration & Learning

• Learn effective prompting and AI collaboration techniques
• Perform code reviews of AI-generated code with senior oversight
• Document AI-assisted development learnings and processes
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing on AI development practices

Quality & Process

• Maintain code quality standards with AI tools
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Support feature delivery through agile development processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI-assisted workflows

What You Bring To This Role:

Experience

• 0-3 years software development experience
• Basic experience with AI coding tools preferred
• Strong foundation in modern programming languages

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP (primary language) with modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Go
• Basic AI tool usage (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• Fundamental prompt engineering skills
• Version control (Git) and basic CI/CD understanding
• Testing frameworks and debugging basics (PHPUnit, Jest)
• Agile development practices

Highly Preferred Experience

• MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server Development: Experience building and deploying MCP servers for AI agent integration
• ChatGPT Extensions/Plugins: Demonstrable experience developing ChatGPT plugins, extensions, or custom GPTs
• AI Integration Architecture: Understanding of AI service integration patterns and API design
