About the Team
The Phone System team oversees the complete lifecycle of number onboarding, A2P & telecom compliance, call/SMS deliverability, porting, quality assurance, and customer support.
As part of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring agencies and businesses successfully set up, configure, and activate their phone numbers and calling/messaging infrastructure inside HighLevel.
About the Role
HighLevel is seeking a Product Enablement Specialist - Phone System to support customers through the successful setup, configuration, and activation of the HighLevel Phone System.
You will be the primary POC for all Compliance Emails from our Telephony partners and actively send outreach to customers.
You will be the primary guide for agencies as they: Purchase and configure phone numbers
Responsibilities
- Provide direct customer support via calls, email, SMS, and chat to resolve Phone System compliance challenges.
- Get on customer calls to help support Phone Number configuration issues and be a champion at it.
- Be proactive in reviewing number migration requests and approve them.
- Identify customers whose onboarding is incomplete or has failed and proactively reach out with step-by-step support to ensure successful activation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in customer onboarding, technical support, telecom support, or a customer-facing technical role.
- Experience assisting customers with at least one of the following (preferred):
- Phone number provisioning (local, mobile, toll-free)
- A2P 10DLC or SMS compliance
- Porting/number transfers
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts simply.
- Strong presentation skills for webinars and customer training.
- Patient, empathetic, and customer-obsessed.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving telecom and compliance requirements.
